Bimeda Ireland are pleased to announce the launch of two new products to their veterinary medicine range this week.
Keytil is a 100ml combined antibiotic and NSAID injection containing a combination of tilmicosin and ketoprofen, which is licensed for use in cattle under 330 kg live weight, for the treatment of BRD associated with pyrexia due to Mannheimia haemolytica. It is important to note that Keytil is a VPO-1 classified product ad must only be administered by a veterinarian. Keytil is administered by subcutaneous administration at a rate at 1ml per 30 kg live weight.
Bimeda's second product launch this week is Dexashot, a 100ml injectable containing 2mg/ml dexamethasone and licensed for use in cattle, horses, pigs, dogs and cats. The product has a broad range of indications and is licensed for the treatment of inflammatory or allergic conditions in horses, cattle, pigs, dogs and cats, the induction of parturition in cattle, the treatment of primary ketosis (acetonaemia) in cattle and the treatment of arthritis, bursitis or tenosynovitis in horses. Dexashot is a POM medicine.
